Here you will find all sorts of tips, explanations, slices of code and similar that may help you in learning Natural Language Processing (NLP). I will be sharing my progress in learning NLP so that you can benefit from my experiences and mistakes.
My starting point before creating this blog looks like this: I have a BA in languages, had a lot of courses in general linguistics at university, worked as an interpreter for a few years and I started self-learning Python and R, attended a few data-science courses at university (statistics, data-bases, complex networks, data analysis and visualizations), and I completed a few Machine Learning and Deep Learning courses. In essence, my foundation comprises programming skills, basic knowledge of machine learning, and advanced linguistic expertise, complemented by multilingual proficiency.
Being a big procrastinator, I hope writing about what I’ve learned and what I am struggling with, as well as monitoring my progress will help me on my journey and motivate me to practice every day.
